While staying in space 54, I was unable to use the sewer clean-out because it was too high above the ground, as is all of the others that have sewer clean-outs. This I know because over the years I have camped in each of them more than once as well as my friends and this is the biggest compliant, we all have.

My biggest complaint is that the sewer connections at the full hook ups are too high, they need to be lowered.

My party had a great time. The weather was great. The Volunteer hosts were also very friendly and accommodating. The camp was clean and quiet.

We enjoyed our time at the campground. It was very quiet and peaceful. At this time of year we didnt see very much wildlife but on others stays we have seen plenty.

This was exactly what we needed after being in Yosemite, which had been crowded. It was so peaceful, we were there during the week. The camp hosts were amazing. They were very helpful. The campsite was clean. The bathroom was clean. We had full hookups and after having no hookups in Yosemite it was amazing to have water and power and sewer. And the views of the lake and rolling hills were beautiful. We saw so many birds and hawks, even a bald eagle! We didn't want to leave. I'm ready to go back. Thank you to the camp hosts and the rangers.

Lake had Algae Blooms so we couldnt swim or let our dog get in the water according to the rangers. It was over 110 degrees for 3 days. We tried to fish early in the morning but it was so hot the fish were too far out in the colder water and without a boat it was pointless. We left the campsite 2 days early and moved to Bass Lake for the rest of our vacation. This lake would be great in fall or spring when the temperatures are not so hot. I will never go back here in the summer.

The people beside us had four dogs they barked at us every time they seen us.

Campground is very well maintained, grass is cut short throughout the campground...helps keep snakes out of sites as well as eliminates stickers and fox tails. Bathrooms are clean. Nice trails available right out of the campground.
