First thing you do when you get here? Pay twenty bucks a night to sleep outside. No joke. We spent half the day driving around trying to find a spot that wasnt full, and when we finally did, the ranger treated it like a hotel check-in. $20 a night for dirt and flies SO MANY FLIES.Then a family emergency hit, and we had to leave early. I asked for a refund nothing crazy, just for the nights we didnt stay. Over a week later, the only thing they sent me was a please leave a review email. So here it is.If youre thinking about coming here, dont. The lakes disgusting this time of year, the staffs tone-deaf, and the place just isnt worth the money or the hassle. there was only one part of the trip that I will remember and it was nowhere near the camp site a little family owned shop called "The I forget shop" if I ever go back it will only be for those sweet people, got a question about fishing they got a answer, hunting they know all about it, they know it all great people and gave us free coffee for the road.

The bathrooms and showers were out of order, but it was a great trip. The view is amazing

Smallish site. Long and winding road to get there but worth the trip because the view of the lake, especially in the morning, is awesome. Looks like its a good fishing spot too.

Campsites are staggered so each one has a view of the lake. Each site had a nice level tent pad, table and fire ring. The flush toilets and free hot showers were an added bonus. Boat ramp was handy for launching kayaks.

It was perfect. Clean and quiet. The restroom|bath area was clean. The lake was beautiful.

Great remote site. Very HOT with little shade for an August camp. Amazing for star gazing! Closest store is about 20min away. Decent restrooms with showers and running water near campsites. Lake is a long walk from campsites and there isn't any shade by lake. Bring shade, suncreen easy-up etc. Drivable down to lake with boat dock from campsites about 1/2 mile. Stayed 8/21
