This is a nice small little campground right off the lake. The sites are rather close together, however luckily it wasnt loud and others were respectful. There are no hookups and we had poor cell reception, however we went to enjoy the outdoors and get away so this was not an issue. With the lake half full, we had plenty of are to walk down and explore around. Have the kids bring bikes, Rc cars, etc for a fun time.

Nice camp site. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The restroom were ok. Wouldn't hurt to update them. The lake was low but still nice.

We camped 1 week ago, the place was really amazing, the view spectacular. When we were there no other camper, only me and my husband so quiet and so relax, till 8pm there's a pick up truck arrived and parked at site 9 and we are at site 2, feels weird and scary we just wondering why he was there, I'll checked the website if there any other campers reserved however no one. So we decided to packed up and leave as possible because of the guy driver of that pick up ruined our camping even he didn't do anything or whatever, but we felt very bad vibes.

Beautiful campsites with level parking spots. The bathrooms were a bit gross but pretty standard for campsites. The only downside for me was the location / isolation. Its very off the beaten path and I wouldnt feel safe as a single woman staying there. Others likely feel differently!

The bathrooms were both out of service and there were human excrements outside the doors because of that. We ourselves would have loved a place to go to the bathroom as driving to one was not an option since this campground is so far off the beaten path. This campground was chosen because it had bathrooms so staying here was completely useless and we would have rather stayed in a walmart parking lot.

The campground was completely empty. The lake was nearly entirely gone. Restrooms haven’t been used in ages. We were all disgusted. Don’t recommend!

We had the entire campsite to ourselves. Secluded, quiet, lovely, clean. Park Ranger visited us and made us feel welcomed. Lake low due to ongoing draught but still very lovely. Serenaded by coyotes and one visited us but stayed about 300 yds away. Absolutely wonderful visit.

We are a family of 6 plus our 3 furry family members (2 dogs and 1 cat). We took a break out of Clovis and spent 2 nights here. Rented campground #2 (corner location) and had the best view in my opinion. Camping is something we don’t do often but we did here since it had a full bathroom and shower which is also very close to the campgrounds. We will certainly come back again.

The camp ground was clean and bathrooms clean too.
Nice to see the animals around and fun to hear the coyotes at night along with the owls.
The Ranger was supper cool.

This is a very nice campground with a beautiful view. I was there in the fall and had the place to myself so I had perfect weather and an abundance of wildlife that included redtail hawks, bald eagles, a bobcat in my site, and coyotes singing in the night.

What a hidden Gem. Site 2 was the absolute best! The view cannot be beat and there are free hot showers.

We hadn't been here since the 80's, boy has it changed! The marina..gone, the store...gone, Army Corp of engineers took it all over and very little private places remain. It was 108 in August and Trimmer has no electricity and very little water, we moved to another campground the juice went out hours after we arrived so no A/C. It was HOT and me and my 86 year old Dad got in trouble by the only boat on the lake, a Ranger throwing her weight around because we were swimming too close to the boat launch, no boats in site! Lake was like GLASS, that hasn't changed and if I still water skied I can't imagine any better water, which was like 85deg
