Trimmer Campground is a calm and peaceful place with a beautiful view. AT&T service works well here, which is a big plus. Its not the best spot for hiking or biking since there arent many trails, but its great for boating and fishing. If youre looking for a quiet place to relax by the water, this is a good choice.

Its was soooo far away from the parc we were visiting!!!! Kings Canyon. Out of a 3 day stay we only went there one night! Dont go there if you are visiting parcs. Its very isolated. The road is extremely hazardous and many and very steep curves, scary!! And we had only a 21 feet RV. No service, toilets not clean, but the view of the lake is nice. ABS very quiet. But not for us! Sorry.

There was a stray pitbull roaming the campsite and when contacted park managers wouldn't do anything.Bathrooms need deep clean. Otherwise a nice area and nice experience :)

Had a peaceful night there before visiting Sequoia&Kings Canyon NP. Only us and another couple where there. No noices, just the beautiful Lake in front of our Camper Van. Restrooms where closed at that time, but nearby was an replacement. Might be a bit to remote for some, but you wont find a calm spot like this anywhere! Drinking water was available.

The lake was high and temperature of water was great. Fishing not that good. Campgrounds were clean but not all sites have shade.

Great view of the water from the tent at pretty much every site. Cell service is limited and the closest stores with essentials are 20-30 min drive one way.

The campsite looked like the photos posted. The restroom was very clean and well lit. The Ranger came by to give us our car tag. She was very friendly and welcoming. She reminded us to stay aware about rattlesnake dangers.

Really cannot give a fair review here. Once coming to this site, we decided not to stay. We were unaware that the lake on which the campground is situated was so depleted. The campsite, - which appears on the RECREATION.GOV site to be at waters edge - is now about a football's field away. As such, the campground is nearly abandoned. On a Saturday afternoon, there were fewer than 5 others there. Also, as this site is currently not greatly utilized, the bathroom was .... somewhat filthy and infested with spiders.... In all fairness, this campground choice was a bit of a Hail Mary. Our reservation for a Campground in the northern part of the state was cancelled for some reason by the Forest Service. As we were in the midst of a camping adventure - and it was a busy weekend - Trimmer was just about the only place available via RECREATION.GOV. We had no great expectations for this site, but came anyway. There was no facility to ascertain the current condition short of showing up.It would be most helpful to have some function on the RECREATION.GOV that gave some sense of current conditions - temperature range, etc at most - and especially these more remote - sites?

Nine RV sites is what I would say if youre a tent camper looking for a spot. You could pitch a tent here, but each of the nine sites barely has a tent pad and what little pad there is, is right above bedrock so dont bother with tent stakes. Restroom was clean enough with a single stream shower. If youre in a pinch its an ok site for the money, but with all the boondocking sites around, Id pass this by if it came to it again.

Just about the worst campground I've ever stayed at! Save ur money!

Lake was 22% full (per ranger) and most of shore is surrounded by Icky mud/cow poop. You can walk down the concrete boat ramp and water was actually ok.

No surprise campground smells like poop and was about a 100゚. Was only down to 86°at 1:45am! Campsites are practically on top of each other. Trash overflowing and bathroom dirty/trash.

Ranger was super nice and helpful.
