Kit Carson Campground is located in the Carson Ranger District, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest (40 min south of Carson City, NV) with an elevation of 6,860 feet. There are a total of 12 campsites including 3 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the end of April to the end of September. 2 sites can accommodate RVs between 28 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Fees range from $18.00 to $22.00. Activities include biking, fishing, hiking trails.

Robbs Hut Cabin is located in the Pacific Ranger District, Eldorado National Forest (2 hrs 13 min west of Carson City, NV) with an elevation of 6,619 feet. The site is open all year. Prices start at $65.00 per night. Activities include biking, hiking trails.
