We liked the location of the campground a lot, since many of the top hikes in the park can be done without using a car or the shuttle. Getting in and out of many of the sites can be tough depending on the equipment. Especially people with trailers often have a hard time (not much room to maneuver). For vans some of the driveways should be less steep.

All good. Need a recycle dumpster though.

Nice campsite by the Virgin river. The only issue was the rest rooms by the group camping which was close to where we were was closed. So bad to go further to use other restrooms.

Great amount of noise from RV generators. No real reason to run a generator so long.

It is interesting how each campground has a little different layout, and and I thought the Sunset Campground had a great design with all of the RV sites being in one loop. I toured the other loops by bike, and it was good to see all of the tent campers enjoying their more rustic surroundings. The camp host on duty, Dan, came by as we set up, and he was as engaged as a long time friend. The campground itself is located right in the middle of all that is happening. It was super easy to get to the different lookouts and take in the stunning scenery.

The asphalt spaces for campers and parking are far too small. Very limited space for tents as well. However the bathrooms were clean and had ample warm/hot water.

Staff and campground cleanliness was very good. Setting was adequate for Park access. But!!!A BIG NEGATIVE was the inadequate length of the actual RV parking pads versus the listed Recreation.gov site dimensions. Every site on our circle was extremely undersized for average sized RV trailers (ours is 25 feet). Camp hosts had to require tow vehicles (ours included) to park perpendicular to the site, only inches from being extended onto the roadway. (Not all were happy campers about this.) The RV sites did not measure up to what was advertised. Also, the sites were largely not level, in spite of having been recently "re-done." Someone at Bryce or National Park Service really messed up on this costly project. In addition, we observed very small vehicle parking spaces (newly re-done) on the remaining two "tent only" circles, such that a small truck or van would encounter big problems staying out of the roadways. Tongue-in-cheek, " It looks like these new renovations at Bryce Sunset Campground were designed by a Social Engineer rather than a Civil Engineer. It was aggravating to see this at, what has been, one of our favorite National Parks. Thanks for taking note of this. Doug & Karen Barnett, Henderson, NV
