The bathrooms were bad. One was closed. The other hand no lights

Campsites were nice with the paved parts on the smaller size from other places we've stayed. Bathrooms were kept very clean. Potable water was convenient. Camp host was also very friendly. Very easy walk to several trails and overlooks.

Location was ideal! Walked to the many of the trails. Campground was clean and provided enough privacy between sites. Bathroom was also clean. We had a good interaction with the hosts.

Sunset campground is very calm and convenient.

Beautiful surroundings and well maintained but it suffers from over-population. For such a large area we were surprised how tightly the sites were squeezed together. This is definitely a spot for families with children so expect noise and activity right up to 10pm (and sometimes beyond, grr). Definitely an oasis for kids. Bathrooms were clean.

There was plenty of space near the camp host for over flow parking, however we were forced to park 2 miles away at the daily parking due to our truck being too long for our spot. I understand not being able to keep our truck in our spot, but there seemed to be other places in the campground area we could have been allowed to park at.

The parking for vehicles is inadequate in Loop A. There are places at the end of the loop that could be changed for some additional parking., Requiring families to park their vehicles at the overnight parking near the entrance for the North Campcampground is very inconvenient. If you want to leave early at the end of your stay, you have to wait until the shuttle comes well after 8:00 Am, and then it is going the other direction, so you do not get to your car until after 8;45 AM! You won't be able to leave until at least an hour later. There needs to be another place to deposit trash, not just the exit area of Sunset Campground. There are a few trees opposite campsites, like across from 233, that make backing in very difficult. Also, by paving a bit more spaces on either side of some of the shallower sites, vehicles could park there rather than being forced to park far away.

Beautiful park, well-maintained and clean facilities, efficient shuttle system, very well trained and welcoming staff. The Rim Trail and the Navajo Loop were spectacular!

Two issues:
-There were only 2 working showers to accommodate 200 campsites and none in the Sunset campground!
-The booking process was extremely difficult and frustrating, a feature shared by most of the NPS. Has to be a better way to manage the level of demand more fairly.
