THE LISTING IS INCORRECT. IT ONLY SLEEPS 3 PEOPLE. 2 SINGLE BEDS AND ONE COUCH FUTON. IF YOU WANT MORE TO SLEEP THERE I RECCOMEND BRINGING A BED MAT TO SLEEP ON.

Space was extremely clean and stocked with wood. We were able to get warmed up quick even in December. The stovetop worked perfectly and we were able to cook a solid meal. Plates, pans, pots, utensils, mugs, pans ....the list goes on... was there. Hiking up to the cabin took a lot of work, but if you're backpacking, I recommend not bringing extra plates or pans, it's just unnecessary. The bed was cozy and we got a great night of sleep.

Water wasnt able to be filled because generator wasnt working. Lot of people just wander in as we sat outside, sign says its a rental but they just come onto the property anyway

The Cabin is very rustic with no running water(in winter) a wood burning stove for heat, gas lighting, a gas stove and fridge and a pit toilet outside during winter months. Firewood is supplied but you have to split it yourself. We snowshoed in on Monday morning(-16) to find the cabin had mouse droppings everywhere! We cleaned and sanitized every square inch of the place before settling in for a five day stay! The weather was fantastic(ly cold) with stunning starry nights. We built an igloo, sledded and snowshoed, the trail down the creek was 4 deep unmarked powder that took 2 hours to go 1 mile , so exhilarating! The nightly visit from a Martin trying to break was pretty cool (I suspect he is used to being fed). Our snowshoe out was idyllic with heavy snowfall putting a beautiful cap on a great week!!This isnt for everyone but we loved it

Lovely cabin.Good birding.All the dead trees from whenever that big fire was take a lot from what could be beautiful.No running water makes it very hard to mop the floors :).

It is a lovely place, the vault toilet was clean. The cabin could use a fresh coat of paint, and it is very warm this time of year. The picture window was stunning! Our only issue is that it is not disability friendly. My husband is in a wheelchair, and a ramp would have been helpful. All in all, a great experience! The night sky was stunning. Thank you!

We enjoyed our overnight stay in the Beaver Creek cabin. The trail to the cabin is well marked for deep snow with blue diamonds. along the way. The cabin was clean and there was plenty of firewood in the woodshed to keep us warm.

Beaver Creek is a great rustic cabin. In the wintertime, it's just far enough off the beaten track to be very quiet and peaceful, while being not very difficult to get to. The well-stocked wood stove, adequate dishes and kitchen utensils, etc. make for a cozy trip. There's many miles of great cross-country skiing (or snowshoeing) available from the cabin. We keep coming back, for 11 years now!

Nice cabin, experience would have been better if ability to close the gate which is available at other guard station cabins in the area. Many vehicles drove through. People walked into area from trail. Could use a larger sign as most of the cabins have, Please respect the privacy of the cabin renters. The area was busy.

Overall it was very good. Clean enough. the replacement sofa is much more comfortable this year..My only complaints are that 1) A number of time different parties of people walked passed the closed gate up to the cabin -staring, snooping - in spite of the sign at the gate to respect the privacy.2) I killed 2 mice with the mouse trap and had the sense there were more. They had gotten into my packaged foods.

Nice cabin. Tucked away. Wood burning stove keeps the cabin toasty. Requires snowshoes to access in winter and spring as there is a lot of snow and it stays late. Gas lights work and are a plus. Have exact GPS coordinates for cabin and don't attempt to find in the dark if snowshoeing, like we did ;)

Recently updated wood stove and floor makes this cabin so much nicer to stay at. There are so many trails to hike, snowshoe, or cross-country ski on. It is a great destination during the winter and summer

This was our 10th winter trip to Beaver Creek Cabin. The cabin was very clean, there was enough firewood to keep us plenty warm, and the snow conditions were perfect for skiing. The night sky and stars were awesome.

Code didn’t work to get into the cabin after multiple attempts. Had to snowshoe out in the dark. Ranger station didn’t offer to refund.

This is our second stay at Beaver Creek and we had a wonderful time! Beautiful setting, We got tons of snow (early November) but stayed toasty with plenty of firewood to feed the stove. Wish the front door would close without turning the deadbolt, but other than that, it couldn't have been better. Thank you!!

Cabin is in a beautiful location,the inside of the place is not clean. We cleaned for the 2 days we were there and it's still not clean. Other than that,it's a great spot!

Overall a very peaceful, quiet, pleasant experience.
The only improvement that could be made would be that the 2 sofas were worn.
The interior cabin bathroom was locked: not sure why but perhaps it was early in the season? However the exterior toilet outbuilding was open.

Bed/Mattress was disgusting, furniture was also in rough shape. Wood stove was not in the best working order as it was difficult to retain any heat for the cabin. (instructions for that particular woodstove would have been nice to have). The trail from Whoop-Em Up parking area to Beaver Creek cabin was challenging to find and stay on. Poorly marked to say the least. Don't know if I would recommend as is but would recommend that others bring good bedding/sleeping bags, porta-cot, air mattress, etc. On the positive-inexpensive night out in the woods, decent snowshoe hike into the cabin, and plenty of snow to have fun.
