Campground had garbage scattered around it and the restroom toilet was completely full with flys all in the inside. The hot springs are just springs and not hot at all. We drove off and went down towards Garden valley to Hot springs campground and stayed. It was a million times better. Ill never ever step foot much less stay at pine flat.I want my money back since it was nasty and we had to pay to stay at hot springs campground

I reserved a "trailer" site (spot #6) for Pine Flats through this website, but unfortunately when we arrived, it was a tent site, as we were unable to back up our trailer anywhere due to large boulders blocking the site. Our only option was to parallel park in front of it (in a parking lot) then walk 20+ feet to get to the picnic table and fire pit. The guests next to us (spot #7) had the same situation and said they were upset to find they couldn't back their trailer in either. Guests in spot #5 had basically pitched their tent in our site, which was super rude. We left and stayed in Garden Valley for the weekend instead. The campground overall seems decent, and I'd like to try to stay there again some time, just need to CONFIRM the spot we reserve is, in fact, for trailers.

Awesome location, close to the Hwy but you wouldn’t know it. Easy hike down to the river & hot springs!

We loved this campsite. The river is a little fast here, but older kids and adults will have fun down the hill from campsite 6. The hot springs is a short 8-10 minute walk away and makes for an amazing early morning activity (gets a little busy after that). I wouldn't recommend campsites 5-7 for RV as you'll feel like you're camping in a parking lot. Those sites don't have separate driveways, it's more of a cul-de-sac. Tent campers can pitch their tents on the ground next to the pavement. It's just kinda....different. The rest of the campground is pretty standard for other Boise National Forest campgrounds. Definitely recommend!
