Silver Creek Campground is located in the Emmett Ranger District, Boise National Forest (2 hrs 16 min northeast of Boise, ID) with an elevation of 4,491 feet. There are a total of 57 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the beginning of November. 53 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 45 and 60 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. Fees range from $15.00 to $150.00. Some amenities include drinking water, accessible, swimming, restroom. Activities include biking, ohv trails nearby, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, ohv allowed from campsite.

The Silver Creek Plunge, operated privately under a contract with the U.S. Forest Service, is located next door to the campground. Its pool features hydrothermal water that comes from the shaft of an old mine, pictured here.At the entrance to Silver Creek Campground, there is a water spigot that says it's to fill your RV or travel trailer with drinking water. Yet the connection does not fit a standard hose. This was our first time using a pay site campground and we really did enjoy our stay. Typically we go camping in more remote areas but decided to give this area a try. We were pleasantly surprised by this facility. Clean, quite and beautiful. The pool was clean and well kept. Although the water wasn't as hot as I prefer. But, I'm one of those people who likes the scalding hot! This was all in all a great experience.

Had a wonderful time. Restrooms cleaned daily and the staff was nice and helpful. Can't wait to go again next year.

The group site was perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone. The creek running through camp is magical. The host was gracious and answered our questions. Wed definitely go back. The only downside is the nearest water spigot is at the main campground about a mile away.

Excellent campground! Services are great, and the pool is fun. Or, just play in the creek. We always enjoy visiting here.

We drove 4 hours to try this place. Such a great experience. Campsites were very nice. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Hubby loved the fishing and Kids loved swimming in the hot spring pool. We will definitely be back soon.

Grew up camping here and was excited to bring my kids. The owners are just fantastic, they were awesome with my kids and made us feel like we had known them for years.

Great site, great hosts. Was busier than I expected for the middle of the week, and one person ran a generator one entire night, but overall a really wonderful experience. Site 8 was perfect for my parents to be able to access and park their trailer. Not a ton of shade, but we had some sun shades that helped with that. The hot springs was so fun and we really enjoyed the trip.

The people at silver creek were so helpful with us, I want to say thanks to everyone there , the campground is beatiful and we had a winderfulll weekend there .

Great campground! Love the creek and the perks of the Plunge hot pool too! Campground hosts were wonderful and keep things tidy. Only downside was that there were a lot of loud obnoxious ATVs and dirt bikes riding through the campground at all hours.

Upper Silver Creek has great spaces with privacy and easy access to the creek. Fairly quiet setting. Only two instances of older teens running through our site, yelling and upsetting our dogs. The office strictly expresses No Dogs Off Leash and to pack out your trash. We contained and leashed our dogs at all times but noticed three other sites allowing their dogs off leash during walks which was frustrating. I can understand a bit of allowance at your own site, but not on the paved road access.
