The camp hosts did a good job and helped make it a good camping experience.

Campsites are well spaced out and right next to the lake. We went in August and the water was a little lower but the beach area was huge. The kids had a blast playing in sand! We went on a busy weekend too but there was hardly anyone else on the beach!

Our campsite was large and clean, and access to the lake was easy via a small trail next to the restroom. The campground is centrally located close to Tamarack Resort and the lake, and it is easy to get to services in Donnelly. The campground is small and generally quiet, with little road traffic since the boat ramp is separate from the campground. The host was helpful and kept everything clean.

If you want to feel like you're out of the way, but want quick access to some modern amenities, this is a great place. Good for families with children with access to a beach. Only 5 minutes away from Donnelly in case you run out of ice or marshmallows. The only drawback is that it is close to a well-used road, so it's a bit noisier than nature is intended to be. There is also cell service (at least through Verizon), which can be a blessing or a curse depending on what you want.
