Peaceful. Recommendation for showers.

Campground is quite nice, restrooms clean, staff quite friendly. The only negative is the lids on the trash bins are extremely heavy. It would be impossible for small kids or even weak adults to open them to deposit their trash. This kind of trash bin should not be used in a place like this!

Park was beautiful. Field across the parkway has very friendly cows lol. The RV pull through sites put you rather close to the road so you need account for that if you have slides and / or an awning that you want to use as you may not be able to.

Great campground for a good nights sleep while driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We enjoyed our time at Rocky Knob campground. Everything was clean and orderly. The only problem we had was the site we reserved only let us reserve it for a Friday. We wanted to stay Saturday also, but the reservation website said Saturday was first come first served. We thought we would reserve Saturday when we checked in. We were told Saturday was already reserved. How could that be when it was first come first served?? We found a different site that was not as suitable. The original site was never occupied.
