Beautiful location and campground. We reserved a spot in the RV loop just a short walk from the restrooms. They were not heated however, and only the men's had an operational light. No big deal, but good to know to bring a flashlight. So much to do around this site, but it was unseasonably cold (30) and very windy. Had to stay inside & run the heater to stay warm! The fresh water fill up had been turned off due to cold weather, and we were running a bit low. This is close to our family property in VA, so we plan to return and see more of the surrounding trails and sights!

Very nice campground. It was clean and well maintained. The only negative I found was the sites were very unlevel for a 35 foot motorhome. Our front end was about 8 inches off the ground and we were still not level.

We have camped at Rocky Knob Campground for years - it's like "going home". Quiet,peaceful and close to the Town of Floyd which offers many enjoyable activities.

We stay at Rocky Knob often, nice campsites, sites well spaced. Things to do, visit Mabry Mill, Meadows of Dan, Hiking. Floyd is nearby.
