Couldnt choose any rating below already entered 5 stars I wanted to rate it two stars. Sites very small and not even close to level. No easy way to get to bathroom and the water spigot; had to walk way around! Most sites, had to walk either up or down steps to get to the picnic table. No wood for sale on site, had to drive to separate store off site. I do not recommend unless you are desperate and can get a site near the restroom and water spigot.

The entire campground is in very poor condition. It's crumbling and LONG past due for renovation. Road noise makes it uninviting.
While we've come to expect NPS campground to be very basic and sites to be small, most sites at Peaks of Otter are small to the point of being unusable. Look elsewhere.

Most RV sites are very uneven. If you are a family with a stroller(s), this is not a family with stroller friendly place. Unless you have a towed vehicle or towed RV, the only way to get anywhere (including Abbott Lake) is by non-stroller-navigable trails or by walking the sides of busy roads. The terrain at the site itself was u even and not friendly to anyone who may disabilities or balance issues. In addition, the picnic table was covered in thick moss - maybe be prepared to clean this if you decide to go. The staff was super friendly and as helpful as they could be :-)

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
