The camp host was nice to us, BUT the park ranger was a major JERK! I stopped at the checkin booth and the ranger was not in. I head someone holler at me from across the campground (What do you want?) That was the park ranger in his pickup. That is NOT the way to talk to park guest! I asked him about how to approach dump station with my camper and his response was (YOU MAKE A MESS, YOU CLEAN IT UP!!) My wife said he's an ass, lets go! This is a major reason my wife and I drive to North Carolina to camp as the rangers and such are MUCH friendlier and act like they want you you there!

We had a sweet site down by a small creek. It was after Labor Day so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Great little 3.5 ish mile hike along the creek was perfect.
Camp host was very good. We had no cell service which isn’t a deal breaker for us, I’m just saying. Would definitely go again.
