The campground was in a good location near the Linville Falls visitor center with lots of hikes. Note that there are no showers, only restrooms, and the needed some care and maintenance.

Rather quiet. Not as crowded ad other we stayed at. The river near by was great for the kids to play in. Ranger on duty was very nice and helpful.

My husband and I camped here for 2 weeks and had a great time! We really like this campground and camp here every year. The reason I gave them a 3 star is because the bathrooms were hardly cleaned in the 2 weeks we were there. They were never mopped and I only recall one time smelling any kind of cleaner whatsoever! There are 2 bathrooms in the campground and the only one that got any attention as far as proper cleaning goes was the one across from the kiosk. I feel like that was because that's the one the ranger uses and maybe the hosts during the day while they work. Other than this we love staying here and will probably be back in the fall. Hopefully the grass won't be waist high!

The campsites were clean and the overall location beautiful. The bathrooms could be cleaner and looked dirty due to the insects and spiders congregating around the lights. Overall, it was still an enjoyable, quiet experience. No mosquitos noted :) Being right off the Blue Ridge Parkway allowed us to visit lots of waterfalls and other beautiful sights.

Love the Linville Falls area, and will return in the future. Trails are varied in rigor so its great for people of all levels. Price Lake is very close by we spent 1/2 of the day hiking around the lake and paddling. Definitely stop by Linville Vineyards between 3-6 pm for live music. It's a short 1.5 miles from the campground. Note: Linville Falls campground does not have hot water in the bathrooms and does not offer showers.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that this campground has no water at the dump station and we didn't know that until we got there. When we asked how we were to fill up our 60 gallon fresh water holding tank Rosemary told us that we'd have to carry jugs and fill it up. Had we known this before we came, we could've filled up the fresh water tank at home. If you're planning on camping here this summer, fill up your tank before you get there because waiting on the government to fix this problem will take a while. Otherwise, we had a great week camping here!

It was great! Our first time tent camping and it rained but the site was great. The campground was quiet. Plenty of privacy and space. This will be our go to spot.

Been staying here for years. Usually quiet and well managed. Be advised site 69 is listed as an RV site but has tree branches hanging down in the site that badly need trimming. We left a few days early due to damage to our camper from the branches and requested a refund for our unused days since the site was not properly maintained. We were denied. Otherwise our stays there have been good.

Large campground with sites for everything from motor homes to hammock tenting. All are dry camping but spacious enough for to set up solar panels. Sites are reasonably Flat but bring blocks. The are bathrooms at each end of the campground that are basic but clean, no showers.
