Great facility as long as you are ready for no hookups. We had a great week with daytime temp 70 night 50. Just perfect. Clean and well kept. NPS personnel and volunteers very helpful.

Stayed 3 nights, weather was not the greatest but no leaks so that was a plus. Camp host was very helpful.

Once again, my Linville experience was awesome. Left temperatures in the mid 90s here in Raleigh and upon arriving at the campground the temperature had dropped to the low 70s. Very nice! Nighttime temps in the low 60s and even upper 50s made for really nice sleeping with the murmur of the Linville River in the background. My grandsons. daughter, and son in law were able to come and fun was had by all, especially my 2 grandsons. I hope they develop a love for the area just like I did many years ago and return with their children.

We have been camping at Linville Falls for many years and aways enjoyed camping here. This year the up keep of the facility was better that past years which was very welcome. The grass was well maintained and the bath houses were clean.

No Showers and comfort center buildings need to be refurbished.

I reserved B6, a SHADY pull through.
BUT there was NO shade , not even a tree near the sight.
Fortunately, Rosemary allowed us to change sites. She was very friendly and helpful. She was also able to reroute us around the detour and save us miles and time.

Campground is reasonably easy to access, except for road construction just south of MP 216 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This necessitated a reroute throught the town of Linville Falls with limited signage.

Campground is very nice with very spacious and open sites. Very level and did I say spacious! We had a pull through that could have accomodated at least 1 or 2 more rigs. Only down side was the absence of any shade at our site. Weather was nice, so even with the sun, it was tolerable. Camphost stopped by and welcomed us, which was a nice touch. Many using generators throughout the day, and some were quite noisy. Not sure what can be done to limit use to only a few hours or certain hours. Otherwise the park was quite serene. Common areas were exceptionally well maintained and recenly mowed giving a manicured appearance to the gem of a place.

Linnville Falls is very good close to home and have enjoyed it for 50+ years.

We spent the weekend here and will be back. The campground hosts were great and even let me borrow some tools. Being right down the road from the trails was pretty nice too.
