The campground is pretty decent. I would’ve preferred a site by the river but I mistakenly got one by the road. No shade, so keep that in mind.

Staff was helpful. They allowed me to switch campsites. There were no issues.

Great beautiful place in the center of Blue Ridge. Bathrooms can use some pest control as they're both pretty infested when I went with everything from spiders to moths. Usually not a big deal but the sheer amount was pretty troublesome. Otherwise fantastic spot

It was great!! Well maintained and the staff and volunteer hosts were super. We will definitely be back.

This campground is a good base for visiting the Falls. Our site A25 was a back-in site near off the campground loop road, close to the River. No trees, (BYO shade to A25), but in July set in a lovely meadow of yellow Spring wildflowers. No improved tent pad as such. The immediate site had been mowed, but no one had weed-whacked and high weeds were left under the picnic table, making sitting at the table unappealing. One of the picnic table seats was unattached. It rained and the car park area flooded and pooled. The bathroom doors were propped open and the bathrooms were very buggy. It was warm and wet and the firefly show in the meadow along the River was breath-taking.

Great campsite! Did not feel overcrowded on loop A. Easy access to visitor's center and parking for hiking and falls.
