Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful campground in an area with many hiking opportunities.

The bad: sites are small with stone borders (curbs).

Neighbors were considerably inconsiderate and loud and the bathrooms were filthy with excrement.

This is a beautiful and quiet campground well-located to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway from Little Switzerland to Blowing Rock. The falls hikes nearby are wonderful too.

We are experienced campers and have traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada staying at national and state parks. While the campground host was very good, the remainder of the Linville Falls Campground was disgraceful and ranks in the bottom 10% of all park campgrounds we've visited. The rangers were present the afternoon we arrived but not during the remainder of our 3-night stay. The restrooms were not cleaned the first 48 hours of our stay and were filthy (we were told the maintenance person had two days off and there was no replacement). Also, the inside ceilings of the restrooms were covered with extensive spider webs and dirt. There are no showers, which are needed given the main attractions of the area include hiking.The only reasons for ranking this campground as "Fair" instead of "Poor" is because of the very good campground host and the general layout of the campground and camping sites.
