Excellent, private spaces. We used an accessible site with hard walkways to our pit and the restrooms. The showers at the visitor center are a plus but please replace the old school $5 in quarters to operate them.

Park staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! Really helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The weather was pretty marginal and the park was fairly empty given it was the last few days of the season. Really nice and peaceful environment.

While we love the appearance of the campground, many sites are too small to accommodate the length of a camper and an extended cab truck. Unfortunately, the park has not been updated in years. Park rangers strictly enforce no parking on the grass or in any other vacant parking area. This resulted in our vehicle extending too far into the roadway, while keeping it on the pavement at our site. The park rangers are very friendly and helpful, but they do run a tight ship. It would be nice if some of the campsites could be updated to accommodate larger rigs.
