Just a beautiful campground especially for those looking for a National campground experience. A bit more effort to get there due to the road construction on the Blue Ridge Parkway but well worth it. We stayed three nights in October.

Due to road Construction North and South of Doughton Campground prevented me from enjoying the site.

A one night stay, but we'll be back, such a nice place and area. Made the effort to support the park during the current road closures north and south. Ranger Peggy Bailey most helpful. The road from Laurel Springs to park needs immediate help, hope they can fix that too.

Beautiful setting. Nice size sites. We are definitely planning a return trip when we have longer to stay. We did take the time to enjoy breakfast at The Bluffs (a must for any visitor). This is a repeat visit spot on my travel list.

A jewel of a campground. Incredibly beautiful. Great camp host! Lots of hiking, and close enough to civilization that you are only 20 minutes from food, gas, and hardware store.

We loved our stay here. Small campground and quiet. Great hiking right from the campground. We'll be back.

A favorite campsite for us and used inclement weather to test out a new off road Aliner trailer we purchased. Was rainy and foggy most of the time but got some hiking in in between. This campground's rest station could use some TLC but camping here again was fun never-the-less. Rain or shine was fine.
