My husband and I camped here for 2 weeks and we love it!!! This is probably our favorite campground on the Parkway followed closely by Linville. We had a great, relaxing time! The campground host Bubba is awesome!! They kept the grass nicely mowed as well. The only complaint is that they put all the new new picnic tables on the tent side which is not used much at all. They did replace 5 in the RV loop but they could have replaced more since this side is used way more than the tent side!

Beautiful location with nice spaced campsites. Maintenance could be better as the park was in serious need of mowing. We have been here several times and always plan to return.

Beautiful place with nicely spaced sites. Easy to access right off the parkway.

Lovely campground that was not too crowded.

This is a great place. Very peaceful. Site 9 is awesome and very private. The new host were great and welcoming. Its a shame they have to close for the season 6 months out of the year. The only issues I have are the comfort station and dump station. The comfort station needs better lighting. The dump station doesn’t have room for you to pull out of the way of another camper. You have to hit the road as soon as you dump. If someone is behind you waiting it just makes you feel like you need to rush everything you’re doing. Keep in mind this campground allows generators so if that bothers you then you may not want to stay…

Great campground if you want a place to camp where you seek quietness.

God's county... No hook ups. Higher elevation dress accordingly. Larger tent loop, smaller RV loop. Lots of channels via antenna

We stayed in the RV loop. It's not the first time. We're coming back again later this year and will hopefully get in a few hikes. The RV loop is a peaceful, quiet little loop on the other side of the road from the main campground. The restrooms are a bit "tired" and could use a bit more attention. The cleanliness may have been because they had just opened the campground for the season and hadn't given it a proper cleaning by the time we arrived. They seemed a lot cleaner the next morning when we left.

If you stay in site A9, BEWARE. The wood steps leading down to the picnic table on the lower level can be VERY slippery. Use the stone stairs on the other side.
