Great location along the river. Clean site. Clean bathroom.

Mike and Sharon were the most amazing hosts. We camp about 30 days a year and have never experienced a cleaner bathroom than at Spring Gulch.
Online information and mapping indicated that we would fit into the site we had reserved here but that was not the case. We may have fit into the site but no way we could get in and out of the campground in a 44’ fifth wheel. We were able to find a first come first serve site elsewhere. I just wish campgrounds could do a better job indicating size restrictions.

Stayed here 2 nights, motorcycle camping with a tent. The host is a great guy, he delivered my firewood both days because I couldn’t haul it on the Harley. Absolutely beautiful place, sites are 20 feet from the river. It has bear food lockers which is comforting when you’re tent camping. I am already planning on coming back next year.

We have stayed here many times over the years & have thoroughly enjoyed this delightful little campground till now. Unfortunately the host is bending the rules, overcrowding & allowing vehicles on lawn areas where they are not supposed to be. Space #5 is a grass area with a bicycle sign meant for a tent. There was a pickup truck, plus a pickup w/camper, three tents and a screen patio room in this small space. (I have a picture of this). #10 is also a lawn area meant for a tent. They put 2 vehicles, several tents, a tent trailer, patio cover & 12 people here. (What happened to 'social distancing'?) These people were either friends or relatives, as the host was partying with them. #1 had an unoccupied tent for 3 days blocking usage by anyone else needing a space. #9 was reserved for 4 days starting July 28th, but was unoccupied the 1st three days, also a waste of resources. A motorcyclist was allowed to tent in the host's firewood lot (this was generous.) A large 5th wheel was allowed to park in the entrance day use area, although I'm not sure they stayed overnite. Where is the $ going if these people are being charged for doubling up or occupying spaces that don't exist? Also, the restrooms absolutely stunk, probably because of the overcrowding. Hate to see such a beautiful little campground destroyed.

This was a cute location alongside a small river. We walked the length of the short campground and enjoyed its beauty. The pull through site was nice and served our purposes for the quick overnight stay on our way to Glacier. The campground is right next to the highway, so there was some road noise, but the convenience of the location for us outweighed that concern. The individual sites offer some minimal privacy. We would definitely stay there again.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
