The cabin was immaculately clean. And during the hot temperatures, the pavilion made it a very comfortable stay. Thanks for the improvement on the electrical system for RV plug-ins. Great stay!

Nice facility, the cabin was very rustic and great. Only knock would be that the pavilion does not have electric lights. Other than that, the campground was great.

Beautiful well kept up facility. Furniture was nice and good repair. Wood available for the fireplace and fire pits. They ran out of mouse traps which was unfortunate as we did have mice visitors in the night.

Nice cabin. Electricity is a bonus and doesnt take away from the rustic experience. The proximity to the creek is great and we were able to land a handful of small trout. The mice problem seems to be under control. No issues for us. We did notice there was a lot of dog poop left over from the winter months. We tried to pick as much up as possible but ran out of bags.

Cabin clean, enjoyed having electricity, firewood well supplied for wood stove, gas stove for cooking good, outhouse very, very clean with ample supplies of toilet paper, hand sanitizer. ample parking. four slept in the cabin, and two slept outside by the pavilion in tents---We brought our own firewood and did have a fire in the pavilion fireplace. ---Very enjoyable time.

This location is incredible. As far as the cabin goes, it was clean and well cared for by previous guests and the USFS when we arrived. We considered it a win when we found only one dead mouse in a trap by the stove after reading other reviews and log book notes about rodent issues. The gaps all the way around the door that allow a lot of daylight (and probably the mice) to enter and exit had me scratching my head. Seems the USFS would go through a lot less wood and perhaps rodent control measures if that was addressed. We conserved some of the heat by rolling up newspapers and tucking them into the biggest gaps. The bunk beds were well-built and larger than we realized in the photos.

The only bad thing was leaving!! So many trails to explore - we had our side by sides and 4-wheelers. Weather was a bit cool, but mostly sunny, and the wood stove kept us warm and cozy. This spot is a hidden treasure, and we hope to return next year. Thanks for the memories.

Nice cabin in a beautiful area. Close to East Fork trailhead. Stocked with many puzzles, as well as kitchen basics.

Very cozy and well appointed cabin. It says that it sleeps 8, but there are only 4 beds. I am sure glad that our entire party didn't show or we would have had people on the floor. I suppose it could sleep 8 if it were 4 couples that really liked to snuggle. Even then, they would have to be pretty small. The beds are slightly larger than a twin, but are not full. The mattresses were comfortable. The property was nice with plenty of room to roam. The pavilion was very nice with the fireplace and bbq pits. Overall it was fantastic!

We've been going to the cabin for the past 10 years and love it. The new log themed furniture was great.

This cabin is great! Snow was gone by early May when we stayed and roads were easily accessible. It was nice and clean when we arrived. It has a big outdoor fire pit, plenty of firewood and the creek runs along side it. One of the cleanest/least smelly vault toilets of any of the forest service cabins I've stayed in. Would recommend bringing additional coffee mugs if you have more than two people. There were only 3 mugs at the time we stayed. Other than that, it has everything you need! Enjoy!

Great place to relax. Make sure bring all your herbs and spices with you as there are none at the cabin.

The road is only plowed to where the pavement ends. The road to the cabin driveway is hard-packed. The cabin driveway is not plowed, and we slid off the driveway due to ice underneath about 10 inches of new snow, we were able to dig out and parked on the road. Advise a sled to bring in supplies. It was also neg 39, even with a fire going all night water bottles on the floor froze. But the pump house water did not freeze and the wood stove worked great. Tip: please bring the locks in the cabin and not hanging unlocked outside, when we arrived 2 of the 3 locks were frozen closed and took a lot of warming to open. Very little mouse sign!

Cross country skied, sledding & solstice crafts! -30 windchill but the wood stove kept us toasty. Rustic but clean. Minimal mouse droppings for older cabin. Great cookware & outhouse was pristine. Thanks USFS for these magical places!

A comfortable cabin for up to 4 people. The setting is fantastic, the road was plowed all the way to the cabin. Ample kitchen supplies and propane cookstove. Ample wood supply in the shed, be sure to chop replacements for next users. Woodstove heats up the cabin fairly quickly. Have stayed here several times and always have visiting mice. Traps are provided, just be aware you will need to dispose of them well away from any of the buildings on the property or take home in your garbage. Cabin and toilet were clean; guests have been good about sweeping and cleaning. Front door has pretty good sized cracks in it and could use replacement. Snow was deep enough for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, and there are lots of choices for adventuring along the Forest Service roads.

Always a terrific stay. Recommend an empty cooler or storage bin to put your dry goods in at night to keep lil critters out of your foodstuffs.

I've stayed here before and continue to enjoy the layout, nearby creek, and overall feel of the place! Road is nearby and is moderately used so don't expect total seclusion and/or quiet. Overall though, great cabin!

Great cabin in a beautiful location. Usual mouse visitors but they are just a part of the experience. Thankful the forest service doesn't use harsh poisons that could endanger our children . For rodent free accommodations there are motels in town.
