The campground was well maintained, bathrooms were exceptionally clean and host was friendly and helpful.

Campground is too overgrown with trees and crowded. Won’t be returning

Tie Flume is a great little campground on the S. Tongue River. Bathrooms were clean. Great hiking and fishing in the area. Lots of ATV’s that ride the roads.

The campground is very nice (except for the dust). If anyone is coming to relax, enjoy the moose wonder through the campground and maybe sip on a glass of wine in the evening, forget it! The ATV'r's have pretty much taken over! I do understand it's one of the gateways to all the atv trails and roads in the area, and that's fine if they obey the campground rules. Many don't. Underage kids ride the atv's throughout the campground like it is their private road. No helmets and not licensed to drive one in the first place. Mon and Dad obviously don't care. When I brought it to the attention of the campground host, she said she would have a talk with them. Later, when I met her she said when she brought it to Mom and Dads's attention, they denied it. Then backed up and changed their minds on that answer when she said someone had photos (me). So now they were simply going to the bathroom. Right, dozens of times a day riding past the bathroom, which was a 2 minute walk from their campsite.

I will not stay at Tie Flume anytime soon until law enforcement gets it under control. I will however, stay at Sibley Lake where the campground host seems to have the few ATVr's under control and require them to follow the rules of the campground. I am not the only one in the campground that had these concerns.

Drive your ATV to the campground site, park, then ride it out of the campground to ATV trails. Very simple to follow!
