We have stayed here many years. Lennie the camp host keeps a very clean camp! Restrooms are always clean and she kept us informed every day what was going on. There was a bear in camp and she made sure all of the campers kept a clean camp and had coolersxand food put away. A central location to trails, bear lodge, and for wildlife viewing. We were fortunate to see plenty of moose and elk.

Campground was very clean, orderly, and nicely set along a good sized, fishable creek. The camp hosts visited within a short time, and briefed me about anything important. The toilets were spotless, and even included a motion-sensing light to stay oriented at night. There is plenty of room between sites. Two of the 12 sites are FF. This campground is standard, non-electric with clean, cold water from two hand pumps. The sites are generally level, but not absolutely flat. There is plenty of shade, and on dry days, there may be some dust from the FS road leading to the campground. Good firewood is available for $6/bundle, as well as maps, at the camp host site (first site on left). This is a nice, pleasant campground that I will be staying in again.

The out houses were very clean & well stocked. The firewood was dry and split to our liking. The campground hosts were very helpful. Even though the water pump was not operable yet, the campground hosts were there every day checking the water. The wildlife was amazing. We had a mother moose & little calf come to the campground to say good-bye the day we left. The weather & wildlife viewing was perfect. We moved to Prune Creek, as the pump was working there, and we were getting low on water. That campground was equally as nice. We love camping in the Big Horn Mountains & will definitely be back again.

The campground hostess was absolutely awesome, she did everything she could to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. We appreciated her soooo much. wish the forest service would water the road that goes by the upper end of the campground though, the dust was so terrible, 3 out of 6 of us came home sick, my husband was the sickest and is still sick. I have never seen so much traffic and have lived here all my life. Our stay at the campground was wonderful, only that one exception and it had nothing to do with the dust except for the location.
