Less is the best camp host! The bathrooms are alway immaculate and hes so helpful. Weve enjoyed having him as a camp host the last couple of years!

I have been to Leigh creek campground many times and I do love the area. This time I reserved a campsite on line for just one night so we could relax and enjoy some fishing. When I got there my spot was not reserved. I couldnt find a camp host all day and people who also reserved the spot moved in and we left. I have always had a great time there but I have not been online till this one time. So my only advice is make sure your campsite is reserved.

We have camped here a few times now, and just like previous experiences it was fantastic. Les is a great camp host, very kind and helpful. Thanks for another great stay and we are already looking forward to the next time we can come.

Upon arrival there was debris around the site as well as pet waste. Didn't feel comfortable here so we found another campground.

Le lieu est tranquille, on dort au sein de la rivire qui coule. Bel endroit pour faire une halte. De plus il y a une pisciculture ct quon peut visiter, cetait intressant.

Great spot! Cooler than staying in town and not as many mosquitoes as further up canyon.
This is a small campground that might be hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area, as there is no signage on the highway indicating the turnoff onto the “Old Road” that you need to take to get there. This turnoff is at the gate where the Ten Sleep Canyon highway is closed in the winter when conditions warrant. There is a campground sign at the entrance to the campground itself once you drive up the Old Road.
All in all, this is a nice campground with several campsites next to Ten Sleep Creek, but some of them have limited privacy from your neighbors.

The campsite is primitive but suitable. Right by Leigh creek that was full and running loudly so all noise was covered -- we ran our generator all night and it couldnt be heard 20 feet away. One challenge was backing the trailer into one of the very few RV sites -- all are back-in. We had to back up our 26ft trailer from the entrance to our site, almost 50 yards, and the road was narrow with thick underbrush on both sides. That took an hour. The other issue was that the directions given by Recreation.gov were incorrect, telling us to take WY 436 off of US 16 -- which we did and spent hours trying to find the campground. Locals were no help. The correct WY highway was 435, off of highway 16. Because of the wrong highway designation the directions were very confusing. Also, the sign for the campground id NOT on highway 16, it is about a mile down WY 435, which also made finding the campsite difficult. Otherwise the campground is a great place for some privacy, and camp host was nice and helpful.
Great campground. Each camp site is very secluded. We would like to return someday soon.

Loved this campground, loved it's location in Ten Sleep Canyon on old Route 16. Very quiet, on the river, close to the fish hatchery which is a cool place to visit. We walked up the road a ways, took some of the rock climbers' trails to the base of the cliffs. Would love to come back and explore the area more from here.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
