South Fork Campground is located in the Powder River Ranger District, Bighorn National Forest (1 hr 59 min northwest of Casper, WY) with an elevation of 7,762 feet. There are a total of 13 campsites including 5 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to mid September. 8 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 65 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $20.00 per night. Activities include biking, boating, ohv trails nearby, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.

This is a really nice campground. I camped in one of the walk in sites and it was quiet, clean and peaceful. The sound of the creek running through the site was very relaxing. The campground is super clean. I would definitely camp here again.

Out of the eight different campgrounds we stayed at during our outwest trip, this one was our favorite. It's very quiet and isolated and that's what we were looking for. The trail at the end of the tent. Camping area was a nice way to unwind after a long drive. We had no cell service but our starlink worked great. Check in was easy. Went straight to our site and it didn't require any interaction, but the host seemed available if we needed them. Of course flush toilets and a shower house would have been nice but the vault toilets are very clean and did not smell at all. Wish we could have spent more time here but only had one night. I hope we can come back one day.

Quiet, wooded campground next to a creek. Our site was level and easily accessed. The bathrooms were very clean.

We had site 2 which is right by the creek and a very good location. I have a 43 foot fifth wheel and had plenty of room for my RV, long box pickup and side by side. Great host who kept the bathroom very clean.

The campground was beautiful. A creek beside it, trees and easy access to fishing. They have a beautiful tent area also. You have to plan ahead because everyone loves it. The bathrooms are cleaned daily. Cant wait to go back.

We stayed in campsite 2. Adjacent the creek. Large space with no parking issues, close by the water pump, restroom and trashcan. Very nice spot. Would definitely use again.

Nice spot near the creek. Campsites are a little close and you can clearly see your neighbor, but the water helped drown out the noise

My daughter and I camped in the walk-in site 10. The walk is very short from the parking, maybe 50 ft so it was easy to haul everything in. The creek was really running which was cool! The host was very attentive and knowledgeable. Hope to stay here again next trip through.

Debbie never cleans the fire pits. We have been going to this campground for years. When Pat was camp host the fire pits were cleaned. Since Debbie has been camp host the fire pits are never cleaned.Other than that it is one of our most favorite campgrounds.

Very nice and well-maintained campground. Beautiful setting along the south fork of Clear Creek. The one upgrade that would be helpful is electrical hookups so RV and 5th wheel campers don't feel the need to run generators.

It's good! Great creek to bathe in if you can deal with cold mountain water. No cell service anywhere in Bighorn National Forest. Bring your own drinking water and your hiking boots and be bear aware

Had a great visit. Sites were accessible with 32'RV. Right next to the stream. Mosquitoes are of the championship breed meening they are big. Very accessible for as close to the road. Definitely going back.

Beautiful secluded area. The creek was rushing and the vaulted bathrooms were very clean. It was the perfect stay for 2 nights in early June.
