Site 9 was great and had a pretty good, only slightly sloped area for our large tent. Otherwise most sites were on the side of hills so had slope, even the parking areas on several. Our site was huge and most sites had a lot more privacy than other campgrounds we saw. Toilets were pretty clean and it was great to have the potable water. Meadow near toilets was great for star gazing. Campground host was usually gone except when doing his rounds and he did run out of firewood the last two nights but we had enough. In general, loved the campground and hope to go back!

When reserving this site I made sure it was long enough for our 32 foot bumper pull camper (specs said max 40 foot) the driveway was long enough but it was at such a slant that we jacked the camper as far up as we could about 3 1/2 feet (which wasn't at all safe) and the camper was still a long ways from being level not to mention then we couldn't get into our camper through the door it was too far from the ground. The driveway either needs to be reworked to where it is more level or don't advertise this as a 40 max camper length site. We were very disappointed that we couldn't stay here. The camp Host was very helpful in finding us another site in a different campground.

Site number 9 is the best -so private. We had a moose visit for 3 hours on our last afternoon! We stayed for 5 nights and the host was an amazing lady, full of great information and amazing with our two boys, even made them cookies! Although there were no showers (we knew this) the drop toilets were the cleanest I have ever experienced . Lots of deer around and easy access to the Circle trail for walking. Seeing a moose just eating then laying down near our campsite was magical! Deer Park area has amazing walks, Lake Helen and Mirror were two of my favorite.

Not one site "semi-level" so bad.
