The camphost was amazing. We were two women exploring the forest ourselves, and he made us feel so welcome. He helped us out of a tight situation (our site was joined to another, and the other people brought 5 yappy dogs - who does that? They didn't even leave their crates) by switching sites, gave us great advice on fishing and the area, and even personally took us to sheep mountain for elk. We could not ask for better. His children were polite and so helpful. Honestly, he is the best camp host I've ever had. Note* don't ever rent site 9 if you want your own spot.
Nice campground. Clean bathrooms. People should know that site #9 is right on top of Site #8. Very little privacy between these two. But otherwise, nice!

I stayed at Porcupine Campground August 31, 2019. I found my campsite to be comparatively large, good privacy, and good options as to tree coverage and open sky for my choice of tent placement. The toilets were clean and in good shape. The in-campground loop road was in good shape. I was just looking for an overnight tenting as part of long car travel and it was perfect for me. The road joining the highway to the campsite had some construction/tree harvesting and livestock nearby; so, if someone is looking for a "long-stay remote isolation naturalist experience away from civilization", there must be other campsites in Wyoming that would be better for anyone seeking that type experience than this campground... at least that is the way it appeared to me on August 31, 2019. Happy travels!.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
