The campground is nice, the stanchions in some of the sites are broken or in need of repair. The bathhouse was clean and warm (it was November so much appreciated). No wifi at the bathhouse, and service is hit or miss. The road into the campground is quite narrow in spots but not very busy. The trails are in great shape and very beautiful, lots of views and pretty scenery. There are 2 trails directly from the camp, but then more branch off further out. I recommend a trail app beforehand as there is no information on the trails at the campground. Overall its a great weekend length stay, and we will definitely be back!

This is a lovely little campground with pretty well maintained trails, although there aren't a lot of them. The biggest drawback is the horse racks. They are in the process of redesigning how horses are going to be kept there and that will make a huge improvement. Don't miss the trail that goes to Blue Heron area. Round pens provided space for horses to stretch their legs on non riding days. The bath house was nice and warm on chilly days. The ranger was really nice and friendly.

Appreciate the reasonable site cost for seniors and veterans. Very pleased with the obvious trail work that the park has been doing. The smaller stone is perfect for horse feet. The campsite was pretty flat, shaded and well drained.

Many of the stalls are broken down and not working. There is NO maintenance being done of the campground OR the trails. Muck and mud all over the place - Shoe sucking mud. One of the people in my group was cited by the park rangers for moving her campsite to one that wasn't as broken down and would actually hold her horses. This was after an attempt to contact them on a Sunday. Nobody was available. It seems they can stroll thru camp multiple times per day looking for places to cite folks but can't be bothered to actually fix anything. POOR MANAGEMENT. We have been told for over a year they play to replace the stock type tie in stalls. They are using that promise as an excuse not to repair the failing ones in camp. One has a huge broken and dented space where a tree fell on it. My other friend had to use that spot! Replace them or fix the broken ones!
