the tent sites are primitive in the best possible way. They are well separated from RV sites, nicely spaced and each is backed up to trees overlooking Burns Lake. Primitive also meaning there are no facilities or luxuries like potable water. There are clean but minimal toilet facilities, an outhouse comode in a block building strong enough to survive a Cat 5 hurricane but no sink or water faucet. That said the skies were some of the darkest Ive ever seen, the wilderness is expansive and undisturbed. I loved it.

Super quite place well maintained and the host is great too ,I would like to see flesh water but that's about it

Nice clean campground a ways back off the main road which was perfect. Super quiet and also great for some dark sky photography if youre on the primitive side of the campground. If youre looking to unplug its perfect!

This was wonderful!! The campsite was so peaceful. The nature was so beautiful. We didnt see any gators but we for sure heard them! Only advice would be to bring wood. There is a lot of things you can do around the area as well.

Exceeded expectations. Outhouse wasn't disgusting. Campground grounds free of trash. Didn't feel feel like camp neighbors were on top of us. friendly/ helpful camp hosts.

Spacious tentsites, lovely neigbors, very few campers. The tentsites are on west side of Burns Lake and when tent door faces the lake, beautiful sunrises can be experienced. Very quiet place. Crows come visiting the picnic tables at 6:30 am to see whats left on them. They make a pretty good racket, not concerned about disturbing late sleepers.

Quiet, quiet and quiet. Relaxing weekend. Noisiest neighbor was an Owl who liked to stop bye just before sunrise each morning. The toilets were clean. Nice place to stay a little bit off the beaten path.

Ground was very muddy and tons of mosquitos. Booked for 2 nights seated within 5 hours. The kids a week later still has the bites all over their bodies. We had thermal cells, off bug spry, off candles. Kids mosquito bracelets. We used red lights for visibility. Horrible waste of money. Plus we had a gator that kept trying to attack us.
