Clean and basic campground. Went to see stars and wasnt dissapointed.

Amazing campground for tent camping. All the sites are right across the road from the lake. The stars are amazing every night and there are hiking trail directly off the campground that are full of wildlife and plant life. Really special place to stay if you love all things mother nature.

Awesome camp. I will revisit this camp every time Im in the area. My favorite spot is the loop road for bird photography.

I pulled up to my reserved spot (Site 14) at around 7pm. There was a camper and his girlfriend set up. To avoid being a complete jerk and asking campers who had already set up camp to move. I decided to stay the night at the day use spot next to the bathrooms. I decided against setting up in another empty site, I didnt set up there due to the fact that it may have been a reserved site. Staying next to the restroom was not the best experience for obvious reasons. I made a loop in hopes of talking to a campsite manager but there was not anyone on site.

Ground was very muddy and tons of mosquitos. Booked for 2 nights seated within 5 hours. The kids a week later still has the bites all over their bodies. We had thermal cells, off bug spry, off candles. Kids mosquito bracelets. We used red lights for visibility. Horrible waste of money. Plus we had a gator that kept trying to attack us.

Someone took out campsite. 14, which is the best one there for tents and cars. The host was kind enough to get us a different spot but site check ups need to be a bit more thorough. The camp host was great in dealing with the situation
