The campsite was amazing. Super large and with 3 boxes for storage. 10 minutes away from Santa Elena Canyon! Such a pretty place and nice watcher of the sight. Very friendly. Bathrooms were nice and such a stunning national park. 40 minutes to the basin and 1.25 hours from the hot springs

This is a fantastic group campground. It's spacious and comfortable. The lack of generators makes it peaceful. I only wish drinking water and a dish washing station were more available.

This is my favorite car-camp campground in BBNP. The sites are in a nice flat area with plenty of trees. We stayed at the group site, and appreciated the large grills which were in good shape, and the multiple bear-boxes to store smellables. Non-potable spigot was easily accessible. Filtered potable water was at the other end of the campground, so we made use of our 5-gal water cans to make the trip less often. Lastly, the bathrooms look new, and are kept clean.Downsides are the proximity to occasional livestock, and the relatively poor drainage - irrigation or heavy rain will cause you to choose tent sites carefully.

Really great place to camp out. We stayed at the large group site and had plenty of space. Wildlife is a real concern so make use of the bear boxes to store all your things, they're very handy.

Cottonwood is a little off the beaten path (about an hour, to be exact) but the scenic drive makes the trek pleasant. The campgrounds were very quiet and the night sky was gorgeous!
