As soon as we pulled in the camp hosts made it very clear we were not welcome. They asked us if we were planning on having a good time and we answered yes they told us not here youre not. We felt so so uncomfortable that we went somewhere else. We Will be telling our friends and family not to stay here. We were looking forward to staying there but will make sure everyone we know knows what horrible camp host they have there. The worst part is we couldnt get our money back because it was to late.he also told us the cops would be coming by multiple times in the middle of the night to make sure we werent doing anything but sleeping or he would be putting us in handcuffs

The campground was great: small, private and the sites were well spaced apart with plenty of trees! I would highly recommend it as long as the hosts are different. I agree completely with Sheila's review.
The hosts were very strict, somewhat friendly on the surface, but I think they enjoyed being in charge. I found them to be unreasonable and somewhat rude for a request I had. The campground was almost empty on a Sunday morning.

This is a beautiful campground with lots of trees and the campsites set farther away from each other than at most campgrounds. Each site was thoughtfully laid out, picnic tables just close enough to fire pits, tent sites flat and smooth and set back a bit farther. All had been freshly raked like a zen garden, so there wasn’t a scrap of garbage anywhere. Water pumps and pit toilets were also clean and there were plenty of both.

There was also very little light pollution, so the night sky was gorgeous. We broke out a telescope and had some spectacular star and planet viewings.

I was disappointed that Warm Springs Creek is not actually adjacent to the campground, but a couple of miles away. Maybe there was a trail to walk there, but we didn’t see one and the highway is much to busy to walk beside, so we had to drive to the creek. We never met the campground hosts.

We initially picked this location because it was convenient for our family to meet up while coming from Helena, Missoula and Bozeman. I feel fortunate to have stumbled onto Springhill and we hope to meet up there again in the future.
