Beautiful location, nice sturdy firepits and picnic tables, amazing showers!Loved all the pronghorns that wandered through the campground each day.It was very unclear where we could pitch a tent at our campsite (B11) and we seemed to be the only spot without a wind barrier around our picnic table/firepit. Signs said we couldn't pitch our tent on the grass, but the only option was really sandy, hard dirt at the edge of our site.

For Starters, what a location! I also booked to be right at the front with the lake view.however that particular night was a mini storm and very windy that was rocking our motorhome.

I should start by saying I am not a fan of Lucerne. We chose it because we were going to be in the area and wanted a place with power. Mistake. The place was a mob scene. 100+ campsites and all were occupied. Lucerne offers no privacy nor separation between campsites. I felt like I was firewood stacked tightly with other firewood...you know, sardines in a can. Campers were everywhere. Not only were there RVs on the established pads but tents were strewn about like beer cans on a front lawn after a frat party. The site behind mine had a tent about 10' from my picnic table. During the day it was fine (it was empty) but at night we had the pleasure of listening to its occupant snore like a bear in hibernation. And the quiet hours...how about some enforcement please. Maybe close the gate like the do in several Utah parks. The site next to us had folks roll in at 1:30am to set up. That was enjoyable. Be warned it you go. I will never camp here again.

love this campsite-but the bathrooms are out of order in loop E. We have a trailer but when we have friends come up from the marina its nice to have access to an additional restroom. Loop E & F were updated last summer but the updates aren't as nice as the other loops??

Do not plan to use the showers or restrooms. They are either closed or havent been cleaned.

Very easy to use the web site and intuitive. The outcome was a very successful camping trip.

I really enjoyed my camping experience this year the bathroom were clean and the shower were great My only concern was one of the Camp hosts the one with braided dreads hair. He was a little salty to a number of different people.

Awesome location right next to the water. It was quiet, beautiful and we loved seeing the antelope. Couple of downsides: being charged $10 to use the dump station. They only accept cash or check at the window to pay for a site. Who has checks and I never have cash! Was sent to the shop for the ATM and was told if its even working. Yep, it was out of order. Had to run back into town to find an ATM. What a pain!

One step above dry camping water only. Our family member stayed in cabin 1, it was awful. Bad odor inside cabin

Appearance has some room for improvement. Dead grass and increase in puncture weeds.

Beautiful campground and surrounding area. No water hook-up at the site and cost $10 to dump not included in camp fee.

We have been coming to Flaming Gorge and staying at Lucerne for almost 40 years. We have always enjoyed our time here. The past two or three years have been very disappointing. The bathrooms are never clean, toilet paper runs out and never replaced in the bathrooms. This year there was a broken sprinkler line in the field that gushed waters the whole 5 days we were there. The grass in the campgrounds was dead and usually they water the grass.

We had several camp spots for our large group. The staff was very great, even very tolerant to our teenage kids playing night games and having the time of their lives! There had been an ice truck coming around every evening with ice cream bars for everyone. Bathrooms were clean, showers functional and grounds maintained well. The pavilion was great to get meals together and the whole group in one place. We have tried several alternatives for our yearly Flaming trips. Group RV at Lucerne has become a clear winner. It's close to the marina and getting a slip is very convenient. No big brother from the AirBNB watching and penalizing, Awesome benefits compared to camping at the shore but we do love to camp on the shore when we can get a great spot.

Very nice campground. We were in B009 camp spot. Great view of the lake. My only complaint was that the toilet in the mens bathroom was broken and out of order. It looked like it had been broken for some time. Things like this need to be fixed for convenience to campers in the loop. I would stay there again. I would have given it a five star, other than the out of order issues.

We have been camping at Lucerne Campground for 20 years, and this was the worst condition we have ever seen this campground in. While Loop E is newly paved and redone, the weeds have taken over, and it no longer has any shade structures. They also appear to be experiencing watering issues, as all the grass was dead. The bathrooms were not clean, and the camp hosts did not enforce the 10 pm quiet time.
@SydneyT2CFA742 · Camped on Jul 10, 2025 at Campsite #C4
We love this campground and how close it is to the marina. Bathrooms are clean and the location is perfect. The downside is, quiet hours are not enforced, even after asking for the camp host to have our neighbors turn their loud music down at 1am.

Wonderful campground with beautiful views. Showers were hot and clean.

This campground has always been a favorite of mine, so Im disappointed to see how much it has gone downhill since last year. The bathrooms used to be cleaned every morning, but are now just gross. Half the toilets dont flush and the sheets arent working properly. The grass is drier and worse than usual as well. People light off fireworks with no oversight and the price of everything has increased quite a bit. Its just crazy.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
