Quarry Cove is one of our fave places to camp! We cannot figure out why it seems to be underutilized much of the time. Our usual campsite is #29, but this time we tried something different (#31), loving both of these campsites for their spaciousness, views, and proximity to the water. Brought our small boat rather than our usual kayaks this time, and tho we caught only a few crappie, enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the lake almost every evening. This campsite is just so beautiful, with well appointed with covered picnic tables, convenient boat launch, a fish cleaning station, and friendly camp hosts. Campground is an easy stroll, with more challenging hiking at nearby Petit Jean or Mt Nebo. Tho we could not receive or make calls at the campground due to very poor cell service (ATT), we had fabulous Internet that afforded messaging and streaming TV. We’re thankful for this little slice of heaven relatively close to home.

Great place to disconnect from electronics!! If you like to drive trails, this is the perfect place to stay only about 20-30 drive to trails and Petit Jean.

Good bank fishing here. Caught some bass. Campgrounds and restrooms were clean. The electric went out while we were there, but that was repaired the same day. Management is very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience!
