the park attendants were very nice and helpful, I like camping in Carter Cove the only down fall is no cell phone service. I love the crappie fishing here

Restroom is over ran with bugs and webs. I didn't use the shower due to the amount of bugs. Overall, the site served it's purpose that I was there for but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. Sites are unlevel and tight. Weekends are crowded with local fishing tournaments. Dump station is spacy and easy to access.

Beautiful location, wide site. The only issue was having to come in to the site backwards due to the angle of the curve. This put the picnic table and pavilion on the wrong side of the camper. But it was worth it for the view! We would definitely come back.

Great scenery and clean facilities. Loved our spot (8) it was closest to the swim area so the kids had easy access plus close to the boat. Pads a bit of a downhill slope, 4 blocks under the downhill side's tires put it level.

This is a great campsite, especially if you intend to fish Lake Nimrod. Preston and his wife are great camp hosts, although I understand this is their last year. Thats a shame. they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The camp is clean and well kept, although the restroom/showers could do with upgrading.

our stay at Carter Cove was outstanding, had to cancel a couple days early because of the storms. Can't wait till March and do it again!

This is a very nice Campground. The attendants are about as friendly as they come. The park is clean and the bathhouse is well stocked and cleaned daily. It was very quiet during the night and I had a great view of the lake. I am sure I will be visiting this camp again in the near future.

We love our site at this campground. Very quiet even on the weekend when it was full. Our only criticism would be the parking pads. There is a steep drop off on almost all of them - up to a 6 inch drop. So be careful pulling in and out and watch where you park. Have some AT&T service, and with our booster had good service.
