The camp grounds were really nice. Each site has multiple levels with an excellent fire pit and lake views. The restrooms were very clean, even during the shutdown. Our site (14) seems to be the only one without water hookups.

Clean campsites that had designated patios and fire pits. Beautiful grounds. I really enjoyed my visit.

We had a good time with a nice view here! Only downfall was having to run water-hose across the neighbor's drive to share water source.

We always love this campground. We didnt get out on the water much this trip because it was windy and cold but we still had a great time.

Stayed here on a hot August weekend, but it was a great getaway. It's one of the nicer USACE campgrounds I've stayed at. The sites on the "upper tier" (farther from the waterside) have plenty of shade, are pretty level, and the setup allows you to have a beautiful view over the water, even if you have neighbors. The sites are staggered so nobody is in front of anyone else. The sites all have a picnic table and grill on one level, and a fire pit on another tier. The site we were on had 30 and 50 A, even though we only needed 30, and that's all that was listed on the description. If you're a boater, the sites right on the water let you pull your boat right up to your campsite, just put in at the ramp down on the end and anchor/tie up near your camper. The swimming area is in the day use portion just over the bridge/across the lake. It's not bad, decent size for what it is but not really "beachy;" it's sandier than the surrounding area but still a good bit of weedy grass and some rocks. Take some camp chairs and some shade and you'll be set.
