Nice, quiet park. Right on the river. Bathrooms show their age but are adequate. The area is attractive with lots to see and do. We were here for 10 days and it was very enjoyable visit

Love the camping here. B3 is very nice and it is level. It's quiet and a nice area but the trash is always overflowing and the dump tanks were overflowing and we couldn't empty our tanks.

Nice quiet campground. Has bike trails that are even nice to walk on. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Peaceful place. Nice campground but the tics were bad. Our dog and I both got tics sitting around the campsite.

Traveling in a motorhome. Gate attendant very helpful. Very clean facility with paved roads and sites. Had site with water and electricity, did not use bath facilities. Site was near the water and woke up to deer in site next to us. Overall a very nice clean well kept campground. Short drive into town for anything needed.Would certainly stay here again.

We came to Ft Smith on the coldest week of the year 2024. The whole park froze up along with the water lines to the individual sites. We were very thankful for the camp host, who in single digit temps unlocked the maintenance shed to fill our 6 gal water tanks. We enjoyed watching the locks with large barges coming thru. This park has some really nice trails which we enjoyed walking. Would highly recommend this park that sits close to shopping and groceries. Will stay here again when in the area

Campground has two separate loops: loop A is waterside & more open, with 30 amp sites while loop B is wooded with peekaboo views of the river, with 50 amp. Asphalt roads & site pads are narrow with pea gravel or cement picnic table pads. Some road & dam siren noise in the B loop. Good location for the Fort Smith attractions. Many levers were needed to get our rig level. The park had potential to be so much better; just needs some TLC.

Easy check in, very attractive sites and easy to get into. Quiet area and well maintained park. Nice bathhouse convenient to sites. We were traveling but I saw bike and walking trails. Would be a relaxing place to stay for several days. Our site had a beautiful view of the Arkansas River. Highly recommend this campground.

I had reservations for 4 nights.I stayed the nights and tried to book another week. I was not allowed to stay another week. That would had only have been 11 nights total. I know and understand we are only allowed 14 nights. But, 11 nights is well under the 14 night limit. The System is broken.

After you pass the host site the park is very nice. Highway 59 bridge traffic over the Arkansas River gets kinda noisy. Beautiful sites with plenty of space between campers.

Really pretty wooded area right next to the river! Friendly neighbors. Great autumn feel in early October. The site was a large back-in RV site. It was a steep entry but fairly level once we got situated. A large ship came into the area overnight so we heard that very clearly being along the water. There was a belly bar in our site near the picnic table. So random, but fun to have a bar height concrete table for happy hour.

This is a nice campground, very large. There is a playground. Not a lot to do but convenient to town. We were camping at Springhill for a Mountain Bike Race. We liked the spot we picked out because of the access to the trails to watch the race. We did not utilize the restrooms. We stayed on the B side. However, If possible, next time we would stay on the A side. The sites seem much nicer. My only complaint/problem we had was the gentleman who was staying in our site before us, decided to dump his black tank at the site instead of going to the dump station!! We informed the camp host about it. They didn't offer any help to clean/prepare the site for us. I had to go to the store to get bleach to clean off the pad. (Keep in mind the temps were pushing 100 degrees! We couldn't switch sites because they were booked for the weekend. That was very unfortunate.
