Very nice little campground along the Arkansas river. Well maintain spacious sites. We never went into the shower house so I cant speak for that. Very peaceful setting. Lots of shade. We stayed here for one night on our way to Texas. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was great except the new bath&shower rooms were closed. We were told they were leaks shortly after they were opened. The camp was very clean and the shower&bath rooms we used up front were very clean. The attendants at the gate when we checked in were very nice and friendly. We recommend this campground to everyone.

Nice campground within the trees. Not easy river access and can't really visit the locks because they are fences. Military planes started flying over in the morning. Bugs weren't bad. Fun biking trails. Bathroom/showers were under construction but they'll be nice when they're done!

The dump station at Springhill is out of order. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the website that indicates this, so didn't find out until after showing up to the park.

This campsite is not inviting for tent camping. We pulled up to the site nestled in between and across RV campers, which we thought was for tent camping. There were no tent campers to see. The surrounding atmosphere of our site was dismal. We did not get out of the SUV and looked for a hotel to stay in to continue our travels West. It wasn't for us.

Our favorite part of our three-day experience at Springhill was our hosts, Bill and Judy. They were so welcoming and informative. B6 was an amazing spot with acres of land and view of the river and its barges going by in early April. Thank you for the hot showers (well, mostly hot), the electric & water at the site and for the amazing price! We love USACE

Our stay at Spring Hill was great. We needed a day to visit the historical Ft Smith grounds and this location worked perfectly. Navigating the park was easy, water and power worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our ATT service and Dish satellite worked well. Site B07 backed up on the Arkansas River, that had some interesting traffic to watch from time to time.On our exit, we deposited trash and used the dump station which was easy to navigate in and out for our 40-foot motorhome towing a jeep.

We have been traveling for several weeks and booking campsites online. Wow to our surprise this campground was amazing. The sites were very spacious, ours even looked at the river. Everything was so nice and clean. Thank you

RV sites have plenty of space. Lots of trees for shade. The park is quiet, despite the army base near by. The mountain bike trails was the reason we camped at Springhill. Fun! Next time I’ll bring my kayak and fishing gear.

Nice camp hosts and easy to get into...a lot of C-130 air traffic though.
