Military jets flying overhead day and night so loud it shakes the windows in your rv. When they arent flying the highway traffic is constantly making noise while your neighbors work on their rvs banging all day when its against the rules. Beautiful place with fun mountain bike trails but extremely noisy and no rules are enforced.

Camp host and CoE allowed a guy to dump oil and sewage into the river and all over the campground while he did major construction on his rv 24 hours a day for 3 days. They refused to do anything and laughed that I complained hes dumping into the river. Theres also military jets flying over all night that are so loud it shakes your rv. In between flights you hear the highway noise and neighbors replacing their plumbing at 3 am. Beautiful place with fun mountain bike trails but extremely noisy and no rules are enforced. Hosts should be fired along with any corps personnel running this place. Worst CoE in America.

Nice campground! Bring a flashlight as it is very dark at night but great for viewing stars which is a big reason we like it. Clean & well kept.

Beautiful location, clean site. BUT the bathrooms were locked without explanation and then I read a review over a month ago said the bathrooms were closed THEN. What the heck? Apparently, they are really getting away with letting people pay to camp there without actually having the facilities. We did have working electricity at our site and fortunately we have a camper with a toilet... but we had already dumped it and were on our way home, so it meant having to find another dump station. Arg.

Was not enjoyable at all the electricity went off for about four hours and 98 weather then when it finally came back on, they had no water. They said the water mines been busted and it would be a day or two days before it ever gets fixed I would like my refund and we had to leave and go home couldnt use the bathroom couldnt take shower.

This looks like a place the government has forgotten. Yes the lake is gone, but there apparently loads of atv trails. The utilities are old. Not bad for one night, but not a great place to stay.

Campground was spacious, traveling through the area, stayed a few days to avoid travel in poor weather! I would stay here again.

Very nice Campground. We stayed in both section B, and A. The pad in section B could use some work, but everything about section A was delightful! The CG Hosts in each area were both helpful, and friendly! All in all (aside from a frustrating mechanical issue with our motorhome) our time at Sprnighill was terrific. We will be back.
