Beautiful, clean campground. When we arrived our sites water hookup was broken after calling the cg host came by to assess. When he saw it was not immediately fixable we were given a choice of spots.

We accidentally booked a site that wasnt our normal favorite site & the Maumelle personnel quickly got us into the site that we wanted!

Maumelle Park is such a beautiful and quiet park on the Arkansas River. It is within minutes of the great Capitol city of Little Rock Arkansas with all of its amenities, but also provides the feeling of being out in nature with the geese and deer everywhere. We are just a few minutes by car or bike of the Pinnacle Mnt. trail system.
If you haven’t taken the opportunity to visit this great park we call our 2nd home, you are missing out!

Very beautiful clean campground with sites in a park like setting! Campsites spaciously arranged! Restrooms and showers clean! Dumpsters for trash convenient!

New to camping people at Maumelle Park are without etiquettes. They leave trash in their burn pits, they pull on the grassy area, especially during rainy times and leave large tire tracks. I have also noticed people over stay their reservation by a day or two during December and early January. One other issue is the park is overrun with squirrels the past couple years. The squirrels can do a lot of damage to brake lines and fuel lines on RV’s as well as damage to awnings.

Not as good as it use to be. People staying past there paid date. Homeless people (I assume) staying over nite in parking lot or unused sites sleeping in there cars and using the showers and rest rooms.
People in the my site prior to my stay had two trucks and a car. The trucks parked in the grass/dirt because of no room on the pad. They made a mud pit with deep ruts 10 inches deep. I went to Lowe’s and bought a garden rake and spent two days smoothing the ruts out.
Squirrels are over running the place causing damage to the RV’s. They chew the fuel lines and rubber parts. I know people are killing them with BB guns, but, I prefer not to, for fear of hitting someone else’s RV.
