Ranger station needs maps & better help with online resv. Over 20+ sites open but not reservable on the web. Really frustrating Really a PITA for seniors.

The ranger at gate was very helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable

Beautiful campground and nice level sites. Only reason for the 4 stars is due to outdated bathrooms and showers.

I would give excellent but not full hookups. However this one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. The views are amazing. Large trees clean sites and easy check-ins

It was a lovely camping experience. The toilets and shower rooms were well maintained. Rustic but clean. I loved the spacing of the pads, ehich provided plenty of room between campers. I had the perfect water view, especially during dusk and dawn. It has been my favorite camping experience thus far. Reasonably priced as well.

Great camping, its quiet and peaceful with walking trails and a beautiful view of the Arkansas River. Very close to two rivers park.

Beautiful spot on the Arkansas River. Picnic table provided a wonderful view. Park is well cared for and looks great.Many campers were working on their RVs plumbing systems. It turned out the water pressure was about 25 psi throughout the campground. A Ranger said that was good so as not to burst RV plumbing except that anything below 40 psi is considered low water pressure. Having failed to convince me that low water pressure is good he admitted the entire campgrounds often full 135 sites are supplied by one 2 pipe.Later water was completely shut off for about six hours. A faucet on PVC was broken off by a mower for what the plumber said was about the fifteenth time. The shutoff valve to that group shelter was buried by the last flood and never dug up again. He knew its location was on a line 25 long, but not finding it was providing him with six hours of work every time someone knocked off a faucet that should never have been plumbed onto PVC in the first place. He sat for almost all of that time waiting for the entire CGs plumbing system to empty itself so he could glue on another faucet.Be careful not to park your car under the pine trees. Some of them produce brown spots that will not come off with water, Dawn, mineral spirits, gasoline or car wax. I had to get polishing compound and use a lot of elbow grease to remove mine, then wax the car. Finding something that would work then doing the job took a day and a half.

Great campground spots are spacious under canopy of trees so there’s plenty of shade. Very relaxing. We didn’t use the showers or bathroom, so not sure how they are. Only stayed one day, but definitely would come back.

Very clean well spaced out level rv sites. Extremely quite and enjoyed watching the tugs and barges moving on the river.

What a beautiful clean campground right on the Arkansas River! Close to Little Rock which means nice grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and activities if you so choose. The sites have good room between each other and have concrete pads to park your RV. Each site also has a picnic table, fire pit where we were allowed to build a fire which we did, a grill and a small stone table to put your grilling accessories maybe? There were some walking trails as well. The A loop is close to the boat slips so check the campground map to choose your spot. We will be back!

The location is fabulous, the sites are big and pleasant, and the grounds and bathrooms/showers are clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. When we arrived about an hour before checkout, the previous campers' vehicle was still on site, so we drove around for a while and did some errands. We came back at correct check-in time and the vehicle was still there (although the campers were not in sight). I asked the man at the office if we could just take the open site two spots away, he checked the schedule and said that it had been reserved but no one came for it the previous night, so we could go ahead and camp there. We did and it was all fine. Next morning as we left our originally reserved spot was still occupied by a vehicle with no people evident.

We love Maumelle Campground. It's close proximity to the ARK River Trail, shopping and restaurants is wonderful. We stay numerous times every year.Joe Pool

Maumelle is a very nice campground along the Arkansas River. Nice, spacious sites. Well maintained. Easy access to Little Rock. We have camped there several times.

Short two day stay, rainy. Sites are wide, easy to back into. Great views of the river. Close to Little Rock, everything you need right outside the park.
