We stopped for couple days and stayed for a week. Loved the area, lots of biking, hiking and near town. Downsides were there was no laundry close, bathrooms were ok, and heavy traffic in area to go for supplys.

Maumelle Park is just a mile from our home. When our power went out, with 95° and high humidity, we headed to the park for cool and convenience. Wonderful, as always!

First time there ever, Large sites are spaced far apart allowing privacy. Paved has cement picnic tables that aren't going to move set upon a cement large base. Has a fire ring as well. However we were there a week, and the fire pit was halfway full of previous ashes. I walked around to check other ones, None had been cleaned. Showers & bathrooms okay. You get no placard for car window to show you are camping there. No fire wood is sold there at all. Very hard to find wood for a sale anywhere. Never saw anyone driving doing rounds to check the campground. Some sites on the river flood when it rains better to be across the drive for a campsite.

Maumelle is a beautiful well kept park. I always enjoy my time there..
