This was the best campground we stayed at on our journey across the USA! When we were on our way Dee called us and confirmed we were on our way! Upon arrival she greeted us with a smile and told us about the site and campground! Excellent customer service! Two Rivers Park is nearby so we could ride our bikes from the campground and access the Arkansas River Trail into downtown Little Rock. Highly recommend this campground! Large sites surrounded by beautiful matures trees!

2 times this summer. 1st time we left a very expensive surge protector, called office, asked lady to have ranger collect it. "Could not find." Ha Ha. 2nd time we started to leave & had a flat on a diesel motorhome.A lot of the spaces are too undeveloped for a motorhome yet we do enjoy the park.

Always a great place to stay. Nice, well kept park. So many things to do in and around Little Rock.

Maumelle Campground is nice and peaceful with beautiful views. Like most COE campgrounds it does not have full hookups and the line for dumping can become long at the end of a weekend. It would be helpful if their reservation site mentioned whether a site was level or shaded.

We found this campground to be very good! No showers in the bathhouses (or restrooms, I guess), but otherwise, the sites have plenty of space between them and the grounds are well-cared for and attractive! Would definitely stay again!

It was nice to be in spacious campsites and in the woods. The last days we were there we were the only RV in the loop. It was extremely disappointing not to have cell service at our site and that we had to go to the Visitors Center to connect to WIFI. In addition, on the first day we used the Visitors Center my laptop got HACKED and then I became a victim of a really bad scam!. This resulted in us have to make an emergency trip to KC to handle closing our bank accounts and setting up new one! The shower house was adequate but over the weekend it was not kept clean. Regrettably we will probably not be coming back. The young staff at the Visitors Center were outstanding and the video about native american population and experience was vary good but made us sad and angry at our white ancestors. The little museum area was very well done. The icecream selection at the Center was appreciated. Thanks for the experience.

The park is immaculate!! So clean and pristine. Great waterfront views. The park was quiet. My favorite Arkansas place to go to! Also ths showers are indiviual rooms that lock and are clean too! FYI, you have to move your arms ALOT because the lights are motion sensored and kept going off on me.

The park is neglected. The grass is knee high at most campsites.

Very nice park, lots of shade, beautiful views, nice trails. East access to the bike trails and nearby Pinnacle Mountain state park. Showers were clean, plentiful hot water. My only criticism would be the dump station position in loop B. The majority of sites would have to exit the loop, and find somewhere to turn around to then go back into the loop to get to the dump station. It was easier for us to use the dump station at the park exit.

The level of preparedness at the sites has diminished greatly for the past year. As usual the fire pit was not cleaned out and was almost unusable. We had to do a lot of digging out to prepare to use it. The grass is almost never mowed. Campers are allowed to dump their grey water on the grass as the sites. Cars and trucks are allowed to completely park on the grass creating ruts in the campsites. I love the campground but I am sad on how the conditions are being allowed to deteriorate. I don't know maybe it has to due with funding but with every site filled almost every day you'd think the campground would be in better shape.

Great time, considering it's an urban area. Maumelle is in the city so eventho it'd on a river, it doesn't have that woodsy feel I go camping for. That said, it was still thoroughly enjoyable and worthy of coming back when sleeping under the stars is the objective.

Wife and I stayed here on our way up to Northern Arkansas-supposed to be just a stop over. We loved this campground and plan to visit again. Location was great.
