The only thing wrong with this campground is that are are no sewer hookups at the site. A dump station on your way out. The sites are wonderful and the bath house was great. Camp director was amazing.

Everything seems like its going to be nice. Then you have Non campers coming into the bathhouses. Especially at night. I found Syringes & Needles on the Floor. Loads of Hair and Ashes in the sinks. Pretty Gross.

Camping on the Arkansas River was wonderful. Great campsite right on the river bank.

We stayed three nights in campsite 16A when we arrived the grass was huge all around our site. The second day we were there a lady pulled directly behind the camper next to us dropped off a man with a bunch of bags left him. He proceeded to go in front of us along the river edge and set up a tent when confronted he said he was camping with the people on side of us, we called the park manager she came out and investigated. Those people said they never saw him before he was asked to pack up and leave which he did not. He took down his tent. He brought all of his belongings into the shower house stored them overnight and started walking through the park, as if he was searching for something. the next morning he was spotted in the same spot by our camper again with no belongings. the second night three people were fishing along the bank. They started arguing and cursing loudly, disrupting our campsite and the campsite beside us. I once again called the park manager she came out. The subjects were gone by the time she came and the police were called they did come out and said they were going to drive through the campsite after dark, but we never saw them. the final day we were there. The lawnmowers finally decided to mow the grass around our campsite.

Geese in the campsite were a problem. The gate shack staff were not very personable. The dumpster near A loop near the pavilion is hard to access while towing a long trailer. Can another dumpster be located at the dump station?

Gate attendant is a little bipolar. She not ever happy about her job. Not sure her name she drives a little jeep around.

Easy in and out from the highway. Park was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our sunrise views over the water.

Beautiful campsite right on the river. Fun to look at all the boats and watch the people fishing. Well spaced campsites so you didn't feel on top of your neighbors. The only area that needs improvement are the bath houses. They are adequate but are in much need of an update.

We had two wonderful campsites during our stay at Maumelle. It's a lovely park, very well located to everything we wanted to see and do while in the area.The only thing that we didn't like was the shower which sprays on the wall beneath the tiny head only. Impossible to get any direct spray on body or head - and water was way too hot (especially when it was 37C outside!), and temperature was not adjustable to anything cooler.Loved our stay, would return! Thank you US COE. You do a great job!

When we arrived, the park had no record of our reservation, even though we had a print-out of the confirmation. We had to cancel our reservation and then make a new one and pay again. We did get a refund eventually, however. It was a beautiful park. We didn't like the fact that another camper let his dog poop on our campsite and did not clean it up until we asked him to. Other than these things, it was a lovely place to stay. Thank you.

I love this park because it is always quite, the people and staff are friendly, and the facilities are always clean. Close to many attractions and shops in LR.

This park is absolutely gorgeous. Nestled right against the river with a great canopy of trees. Sites are separated far enough apart that you have your own privacy. The grounds are immaculate.

Only downside is that it snowed 4!!Dee at the gate and the 2 park rangers were very accommodating. Site was a little sloped downhill. Bathrooms were clean and showers worked well. Could use a coat of paint.

This is a beautiful park. It could definitely use a friendlier, helpful camp host who enjoys their work. The woman at the gatehouse was less than.

No water for several hours and no communication. Called office and was told they hoped it would be back on at 4. Still not on at 8. We went home since we had zero water. I thought we should have been given a refund for the night. .

We loved the location and our site. Sites are large and private. Dump station was clean and easy to use. The only thing that was odd was checking in. Building said we needed to come back at 4:00pm to check in. We did and the building was still empty. We hung around for 15 min still no one. So we never checked in as per the signage.

Great awesome. Despite it pouring during our entire time there, we could tell that we had the loveliest little spot at a beautiful park which was very well maintained. We will make it a point to go back there again.
