Wonderful park. Very beautiful and peaceful. Spacious sites. Bathrooms clean enough, great water pressure.

The campgrounds were well kept and easy to navigate. The restrooms and bathhouses were always clean and well stocked. Enjoyed my time there and will definitely plan to go back.

Some spots didnt have shade and it was very hot around 100 and the air conditioner had a had time keeping up. But we were able to move to a shadier spot that was very nice.

Nice clean campground. Close to stores. Good internet and television reception. Dee (campground host) is very helpful.We will return to this park again.

Maumelle was a very nice park to stay at on our way to Kentucky. Our time there was pleasant and the other campers were friendly and courteous. The Park ranger held traffic for us to back our rig in of the main road across from the day use area. As this was a pre-labor day stay the park was busy with day use guests coming and going, We did not use the restrooms or showers on site but they seemed very crowded. Definitely recommend getting a 3-7 day Arkansas fishing license as the campground as in the bank of the Arkansas River with ample access for fishing. If possible try to get your site to the far right or the far left of the day use area to avoid the traffic flow.

I had been told to just show up without a reservation and they would find me a rv spot. I learned that was not true but the the lady that checked me in was most gracious and helpful and gave me a wonderful campsite. I have been to numerous campgrounds since but have not received the friendly and helpful service that I received from her. I hope you can research my stay at Maumelle and give that person a big thank you from us. The campground is one of the best we've been to as it relates to beauty, cleanliness, and overall hospitality. Phil Youtz, Palm Coast, FL
