Liked the spacious camp sites which contributed to a very pleasant and quiet stay. Lots of biking opportunities very nearby.

It was a great place to stay. We wanted to stay longer but we had to come back home. The biggest problem we had was it was the hottest days of the year. We had a really good time being on the river.

We have camped here in our 30 ft class C multiple times. The campground was very clean and the staff very friendly.

The staff at Maumelle was outstanding! Maumelle worked with us because our reservation at Merrisach Lake was canceled due to trees down. We love the location and the bicycle trails.

Beautiful and Amazing, we wish we would have booked longer. Very well kept, large sites, the river is wonderful, we sat and watched for hours. Quiet at night, dump stations are plentiful and well placed. You need to make this a bucket list location. Nice bike riding area

Dee who was at the gate was most helpful. She went above and beyond most all gate attendants that we have met in the many USACE system.The park is GREAT. One item that I would like to see is more gravel on sites to eliminate mud holes after rains. Wider pads would be excellent. Will be back a third and more times to Maumelle.

Very nice park, clean and friendly staff, on the arkansas river, quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back again.

Nice park but wish there were more bathhouses. Our site was far from bathrooms and with no sewer hookup, is a bit of walk.

In the pandemic, I decided to take my RV and camp and sew across the US to Texas. Maumelle came highly recommended by a friend who lives in Little Rock. I was not disappointed.Pricing is fair, site size is quite adequate, the river is perfect and adds so much to the treed sites. This site has everything you could want in a camp site: clean baths, treed sites, easy check in/out, good pricing.I cannot recommend highly enough.

Well it started off I was reprimanded for not speaking army code for the letter b,then I was told that I was going to get in trouble and she was going to tell on me cuz I refuse to sign the back of my golden age card,then I was told that my spot was not ready yet that it would not be ready till 3 which it was 5 minutes till 3 and I was told to go park at the boat dock,so me and the wife decided to cruise through the campground and lo and behold our spot was empty
