Nice park in a great location, but there is no control of vehicles entering the park. We did not get a pass for our vehicle as we have in other ACE campgrounds. There's no separation of day use areas and campground.

Very clean. Beautiful setting. Good access to other parks. Spacious sites. One disruption at the A loop bathroom with someone changing brake pads at 3:00 a.m. Need to close the gate.

The campground and river are beautiful. The sites were level (we were in A03) and campground was very, very quiet even though it was quite full all the nights we were there. My only complaint was the bath house the first night. It was utterly filthy. I'm guessing maybe whoever was on cleaning that day missed it or there were some nasty campers there. The other two days it was much cleaner. It's dated and could use a new coat of paint, but everything worked well enough. All in all it was a very good stay for a very good price and we would stay there again.

The park was exceptionally an every way. Clean, neat, grass were cut and the staff were going about getting things done. A great place to stay, wish to visit again!!!
Except for no dump st the site and the rain, had a great time here. Wish we could have stayed longer!

While there is a lot to do in the area such as hiking trails in Pinnacle Mountain State Park or visiting the capital, we were disappointed in the campsites. The restrooms were dirty all week. We aren't too sure when if ever they were cleaned while we were visiting. While there were some sites with sewer hookups, the sites were not available to the public, only Medical responders. Since several sites were empty, it seems the sites should be made available to campers. Also, the person at the office was not friendly.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
